San Francisco in April is packed with events we look forward to every year, ranging from Earth Day celebrations to the Art Market. There are also some interesting new events to make sure you’re feeling good this month.

To help plan your upcoming weeks, here are our suggestions of the top things to do in San Francisco in April.


4/2 Sunset Silent Disco Beach Yoga (Baker Beach)

Join fellow lovers of yoga at the golden hour for yoga and curated music on the beach. All levels are welcome, but signing up in advance is recommended as space is limited.


4/5-4/19 SF Film Festival – 60th SF International Film Festival (San Francisco)

The longest-running film festival in America returns, screening 150 films from 50 countries.

4/11 Puff, Pass & Paint – San Francisco (SoMa)

We all knew events like Puff, Pass & Paint would come to our city sooner or later once the laws changed. Come join your fellow 420-friendly neighbors for an evening of puffing and painting. We should note that, though a complimentary glass of wine is included, this is a BYOC (bring your own cannabis) type of event. Tickets are also available for April 12, 26 and 27.

4/13 Happy Hour Cruise (Pier 3)

Upgrade your happy hours by jumping on a boat cruising around the San Francisco Bay with music, drinks and selfie worthy views.


4/15 The Sound of Cocktails Series (Novela Bar)

Novela is bringing back its popular musically inspired cocktail event series, The Sound of Cocktails. First up in the series is a tribute to the Rat Pack super group. This event is marked to be a unique and jazzy journey through a classic time in American history. Martinis are a given at this event!

4/19 An evening with Steve Wozniak, Co-founder of Apple Inc – Silk Speaker Series (Univeristy of San Francisco)

Get the chance to hear about Apple’s humble beginnings from co-founder Steve Wozniak and how “Woz” revolutionized the status quo by inventing the impossible.


4/22 Earth Day Street Fair (Civic Center Plaza)

An annual event promoting environmental responsibility, this is an educational and fun celebration featuring top notch entertainment, panel discussions, celebrity chefs and organic and vegan food courts. In addition, there will be a March For Science march starting at Justin Herman Plaza in conjunction with this year’s celebration.


4/22 The Real Housewives Live Tour (The Warfield)

If you are a fan of the ‘Real Housewives’ series, you’re in for a real treat. Join Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore and Sonja Morgan for a reunion-style live event here in San Francisco. This uncensored and unapologetic evening is sure to be an unforgettable night for fans.


4/27-4/30 Art Market (Fort Mason)

Back of the seventh year, the Art Market San Francisco is a popular annual event. Expect to see a collection of contemporary and modern artworks from more than 60 local and global galleries. This year’s event kicks-off with a preview reception benefiting the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco on Wednesday, April 27.
