Hardly Strictly Bluegrass
A San Francisco institution, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has been bringing free music to Golden Gate Park since 2001. This three-day festival celebrates bluegrass and a variety of other genres, attracting top performers and huge crowds. Concerts in Golden Gate Park
Every Sunday, Golden Gate Park comes alive with the sounds of the Golden Gate Park Band. With themed concerts ranging from “Sounds from the Screen: Music of Film and TV” to Irish Favorites and Big Band Jazz, there’s something for everyone. And while you’re in the park, make sure to try out some of the other free activities like disc golf, fly fishing, or lawn bowling. It’s the perfect way to spend a relaxing day outdoors.

Salesforce Park
Elevate your urban experience at Salesforce Park, a lush green space atop the Salesforce Transit Center in downtown San Francisco. This urban oasis features a kids’ playground, a 0.6-mile walking trail with 13 botanical gardens along the way, and a gondola that takes you right to the park. The park also hosts a variety of free events, including concerts, movie nights, and yoga classes. It’s a perfect escape in the middle of the city.

Friday Nights at OMCA
Start your weekend off right with Friday Nights at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA). Portugal. The Man at the Civic Center
