When did I become an agent? I have been living in San Francisco for years and working as a leasing agent for RentSFNow since July 2020. Prior to my current job as a leasing agent, I manufactured skincare products in Chicago, Illinois and sold them nationwide.

What’s my favorite hidden gem in the city or East Bay? My favorite Saturday morning activity is grabbing a cup of coffee at a hidden gem in North Beach and leisurely strolling to Coit Tower. To start, I recommend visiting Café Trieste at 601 Vallejo Street, a historic coffeehouse founded in 1956 by Giovanni Giotta, an Italian immigrant who came to San Francisco in the early 1950s. The cafe quickly became a popular gathering place for artists, writers, poets, and other bohemian types in the Beatnik scene. After sipping on a coffee and enjoying a pastry, head north on Grant Street and take a right on Filbert Street. Make your way to the Filbert Steps, a staircase lined with beautiful gardens and unique art installations. At the top of the hill, you’ll find Coit Tower, which offers panoramic views of the city.

What do I love best about my job? As a leasing agent, one of the greatest joys of my job is interacting with clients. San Francisco is a melting pot of cultures, and I feel privileged to share this city and its many hidden gems with my clients and often their families. It’s a fulfilling experience to introduce them to the unique character of different neighborhoods and help them find the perfect apartment that they can call home. Seeing their excitement and satisfaction when we find the perfect match is truly rewarding.

What is my most memorable leasing experience? Throughout my time as a leasing agent, I have had the privilege of experiencing many memorable moments while assisting clients. From helping fresh graduates eager to immerse themselves in San Francisco’s vibrant culture to couples seeking an escape from unsatisfactory living situations, to newlyweds finding their first home together, to expats needing a home for their families, and international students seeking affordable accommodations, each experience has been unique and rewarding. Being part of my clients’ journey in finding their ideal home has been fulfilling, and I feel grateful to have played a small role in their lives.
