How long have I been an agent? ? I was hired by RentSFNow in August 2020, (before then I was a buyer’s agent in Alameda County since 2018.)

What’s my favorite hidden gem in the city or East Bay? I love finding amazing food. While working in San Francisco I have tried numerous places while out touring our units. One of my favorite foods are burgers and banh mi sandwiches. An amazing place I have found is called Fresh Brew Coffee on Bush Street and Taylor Street. They have excellent service, the customer is always greeted with a smile, and are affordable, very tasty sandwiches. I drive across town to grab lunch from them any time I can.

Over in the East Bay you can’t go wrong with finding anything you wish on Piedmont Avenue. It’s a great place to go on date night. Grab a bite to eat or sit at a fancy restaurant. One of my favorite places I found was a Thai restaurant called Charm Thai Bistro. I celebrated my anniversary there and the food and atmosphere were very lovely. Afterwards, we went and got a massage at Piedmont Springs and had a wonderful relaxing time.

What do I love best about my job? The best part of the job is being able to help someone not only find an apartment but find their next home. It brings me so much joy when we find not only an apartment but the next part of their journey in life! A place where they will create memories and experiences and enjoy their time living in the neighborhood. (I also enjoy exploring the city with my clients and touring new buildings/units. It makes me just as excited as my clients.)

My most memorable leasing experience – Every time I can help someone find the perfect apartment is always a memorable leasing experience for me. I had the pleasure of working with a client who had been displaced due to unforeseen circumstances. After meeting with them and finding out what needs/wants they were looking for, I narrowed down a few apartments that I thought fit their criteria. We toured a few places and I got to know them while we spent time together touring the units. Once we found the perfect spot they applied and were instantly approved! I could hear in their voice the weight lift off of their shoulders once I had told them the good news, as they knew their search was over. They were so grateful that they almost cried. I was invited over for dinner once they settled into their new home.

Fun fact about me – Have you met Karl? Whenever I’m working with a client from out of state or just unfamiliar with San Francisco I like to introduce my friend Karl the fog! Karl the fog is the local name we use for the fog that rolls into town. Just as it mysteriously arrives and engulfs the city, it disappears to reveal a beautiful sunny day! Karl is a trickster! Always bring a jacket with you and be prepared to meet Karl when roaming the city.
